The Valley Hospital Upgrades PerfectLum Suite Medical Display QA Software
07/02/2012, Wilmington, DE, USA -The Valley Hospital, the not-for-profit patient care center and a part of Valley Health System, is upgrading their installation of DICOM calibration software PerfectLum by QUBYX to the new version 3.0. of PerfectLum Suite medical monitor QA application. The application includes quality assurance features, such as AAPM TG18 quality assurance tests, that are crucial for maintaining diagnostic displays quality within the requirements of the standard.
The Valley Hospital has been using version 2 of PerfectLum since 2009 to perform DICOM calibration of monitors, utilized for diagnostics and reviewing of medical images. Now that medical monitor quality assurance features have been added to the software, the upgrade will allow The Valley Health practitioners to perform acceptance and constancy tests to the key medical standard in the US - American Association of Physicists in Medicine Task Group 18.
