PerfectLum display calibration and verification software calibrates the DELL UP3216Q and any computer display and projector to the international standard DICOM Part 14 GSDF. PerfectLum also adjusts the white level of the display, verifies calibration results and reports them in a history database.
If you already have a colorimeter/photometer, it is likely that it can be further used with the bundle. Please refer to the manual to check the compatibility.

Colorimeter: X-rite i1
X-rite i1 is a display color calibration solution, which features a patented, full-spectrum 7-color sensor that can accurately characterize a variety of wide gamut and normal displays. The fourth-generation sensor uses double-shielded filters for longer life and better performance.
PerfectLum DICOM calibration software allows performing DICOM, Gamma and CIE L* hardware calibrations using the 14 Bit LUT (Look Up Table) of the display in accordance with medical imaging standards, including NEMA DICOM part 14 GSDF.

The Quality Assurance section of PerfectLum makes sure medical displays meet the requirements of key standards and remain within them over time. It includes acceptance and constancy tests. With the QA section medical imaging professionals can be confident in the performance of their displays, and thus the accuracy of their diagnoses.
An acceptance test is to be performed to verify if a display meets the standards necessary for its usage. Supported regulations are American AAPM TG18 and the New York state Primary Diagnostic Monitor (PDM) Quality Assurance Program, German DIN 6868-57 and DIN 6868-157, Japanese JESRA X-0093, European IEC 62563-1, and their associated display categories.
As soon as the acceptance test is passed, corresponding constancy tests are scheduled automatically. The medical display QA software calculates the dates when constancy tests are due and reminds the user to perform them, even if PerfectLum is not running on the date.
